About

From the Stage to the Classroom

From a young age, I had a fascination for the arts. Music, dancing, or singing, I was entranced. After watching the Disney film Aristocats for the 13th time, I knew I wanted to be on stage. My first theatrical performance was at age 8 in the show Oliver!  Since then, I have been involved in over 35 shows. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Minnesota State University, Mankato in July of 2024 with my sights set on performance. After moving up to the Twin Cities, I noticed there was something missing. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed the academic aspect of the arts. I began teaching a few private voice lessons through Mosaic Performing Arts in September of 2024, and since then, teach 20+ lessons a week and have taken on the role of Director of Private Instruction WHILE being involved in productions in the Twin Cities. I believe being a performer makes me a better teacher, and being a teacher makes me a better performer.
